Shopping

While Savannah has plenty of national retailers in its many malls and shopping centers, the heartbeat of Savannah shopping lies in its unique, local shops and boutiques. From the young, trendy SCAD student to the traditional Southern lady, every shopper will find their paradise in Savannah.

Boutiques

If you are looking for the perfect gift or addition to your home or wardrobe, Savannah’s many boutiques will provide so many options it will be hard to choose. Nationally recognized BleuBelle Boutique and BleuBelle Bridal offers high end designer clothing for every day or your special day and even personal shoppers to help you complete your look. If your look isn’t complete without your perfect pooch, the Grateful Hound located just off Ellis Square has everything you need to spoil your best friend. While in Downtown, another can’t miss boutique is The Paris Market on Broughton Street. The store features two floors of treasures and curiosities from around the globe and is the perfect place to pick up a gift for just about anyone.

Specialty Stores

When you are looking for something specific, Savannah’s specialty stores are a great place to shop for an unparalleled selection. Some people say to pick one thing and perfect it. The shopkeepers in Savannah’s many specialty stores have definitely mastered their craft. Even before you enter River Street Sweets, the aroma of freshly made confections will carry you into the store. With just one bite of the sample pralines they provide, you know you will be leaving with a whole bag. Whether you are feeling sweet or salty, a trip down Broughton Street will settle your tastebuds. Savannah Bee Company offers a large selection of specialty honeys and honey/beeswax health and beauty products. The Salt Table down the street not only has an exceptional variety of salts and seasonings but also offers coffee, teas and cooking products from around the world.

Antiques

Savannah boasts a large number of antique stores and antique malls. Whether you are a collector or furnishing your home, it is easy to spend a day browsing through any of these shops located all over the city. Antiquities Antique Shop and Wright Square Antique Mall located downtown and Habersham Antiques Market just off Victory Drive are just a few of the quaint places to browse for anything from housewares and furniture to artwork and books to clothing jewelry and accessories. Two Women and a Warehouse in Ardsley Park is a 7,000 square foot consignment shop which touts itself as a “funky alternative to antique malls” and is a wonderful place to find repurposed furniture and retro decor.

Art Galleries

Savannah is home to many great artists and student artists and is therefore the perfect place to pick up an original work for your home. From the cool, contemporary feel of the A.T. Hun Art Gallery to the bright, beautiful works of Thomas Kinkade, City Market is the best place to start your search. Many art galleries featuring the work of over 50 local artists are housed within this open air mall and you may even get to meet the artists. You can also support our many student artists by visiting ShopSCAD, a store devoted to their art, be it fine art, jewelry, fashion or decor. The stock changes frequently, so it is always a fun place for any art lover.
