Lufburrow Realty Co., LLC is the oldest and most trusted real estate firm in the Savannah Area. We have a very competent staff of sales and support persons who still offer that wonderful personal attention that has been lost in so many large offices. Residential real estate is our specialty, but we can also offer commercial services as well. We are centrally located in south side Savannah, just north of the Oglethorpe Mall.

Lufburrow Realty Co., LLC, was founded in May 18,1923, by Thomas W. Lufburrow. The office was located in Historic Downtown Savannah for sixty years. T.W. Lufburrow managed and sold many commercial properties in the downtown area, during the time that Broughton Street was the retail business center of Savannah. Lufburrow Realty has been a member of the Savannah Board of Realtors since the inception of the company and is the oldest member of the Board today.

T.W. Lufburrow’s son, Albert B. Lufburrow, joined the company after World War II. He specialized in commercial and residential properties. Albert, like his father, became a member of the Savannah Board of Realtors and served twice as it’s President. He was also Chairman of the Chatham County Metropolitan Planning Commission. Albert became the owner and broker of the company in 1969 after the death of T.W. Lufburrow. He has also developed Habersham Woods and South Harbor, two of Savannah’s most prestigious neighborhoods.

Stephen R. Lufburrow joined the company in 1978 and became the owner and broker in the late 1980's. With degrees in Business Management and Accounting and a minor in Real Estate, Stephen brings strong management skills and a firm commitment to detail to the company. Stephen is also very involved in the community. He serves on the Savannah/Chatham County Metropolitan Planning Commission and is a member of the Savannah Board of Realtors and the Homebuilder’s Association of Savannah. He has served or is presently serving on the boards of numerous church, school, civic and homeowner’s associations. Stephen is the co-developer of South Harbor Subdivision on Skidaway Island.
